Credit Suisse is a leading global wealth manager specialising in investment banking. The brief was to create a private banking app available for iPhone, iPad, and the web. This asset and wealth management tool is a combination of simplistic and intuitive design, which delivers the users customised content and insights. It provides the latest portfolio information, together with relevant news and tailored research publications. This does not only save time, but also enables the user to make more cautious decisions about their investments.
In the course of nearly a year I worked with a large team across two offices. The requirements originated as an iPad app and it got scaled up for mobile app and responsive website. I was responsible for gathering requirements and conducting stakeholder interviews. This also included translating the findings into a simple, elegant, and intuitive product.

Defining the future of digital private banking
The brief was to set the pace and direction for digital transformation of Credit Suisse. The final product would support users with their financial decision-making, by leveraging the strength of the bank’s platform and augmenting the Relationship Manager bond, but not replace it.
Simplified complexity
Like many financial project, simplifying and presenting data, especially on small mobile screens, is the main challenge. By designing a scalable, personal, and relevant product we were able to transform the private banking experience.
Meeting unspoken needs
Involving subject experts throughout the design process was essential in helping us understand user mind-set and design simple solutions that meets their needs. Therefore, we were able to create one personal experience for different users with distinct lives.
